Privacy policy
Last updated : 2026-09-02
This policy describes the personal data processed when you visit this website and correspond with us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act.
Data controller
AVRIL CONSEIL, 23 rue Condorcet, 21000 Dijon, France.
For any question about your data: contact@avril-conseil.com.
Data collected
The contact form on this site stores nothing on our servers. On submission it opens your own email client with a pre-filled message: the information reaches us only if you choose to send it.
We then process the data you have entered yourself:
- your name,
- your email address,
- the subject and body of your message,
- anything else you choose to include.
Server logs
Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps technical logs recording the calling IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the browser type.
These logs serve security and service continuity only. They are kept for six months and then deleted.
Purposes and legal bases
Your data is processed to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a business relationship. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.
Server logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Recipients
Your data is seen only by the people at AVRIL CONSEIL handling your enquiry.
It is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for marketing purposes, and it is not transferred outside the European Union.
Retention
Correspondence about an enquiry that does not proceed is kept for three years from the last contact, then deleted.
Data relating to a contractual relationship is kept for the duration of the contract, then for the applicable statutory limitation and archiving periods.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Fonts are served from our own servers: no request is made to any third party during your visit.
No consent is therefore required on that account, and no cookie banner is shown.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.
To exercise those rights, write to contact@avril-conseil.com or to AVRIL CONSEIL, 23 rue Condorcet, 21000 Dijon, France. Proof of identity may be requested.
If, having contacted us, you consider your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
Changes
This policy may change to reflect legal or technical developments. The date it was last updated appears at the top of the page.
